| 2010 Wildcats Rugby Rampage IV- Oct. 23rd-24th |
Oct 20th, 2010 - Join us on Oct. 23rd-24th for the Fourth Annual Wildcats Rugby Rampage held at the Hamel Rec. Center on the campus of UNH in Durham, New Hampshire. This year’s tournament will feature teams traveling from New York, Connecticut, and Philadelphia to battle head to head with the NEP Wildcats’ Team One and Two. Don’t miss out on the chair smashing action from 10am-5pm Saturday and from 9am-1:30pm on Sunday. Come watch your favorite wheelin’ ruggers as they strive to defend the tournament title after last years first place win. See the official tournament schedule for individual game times. |

| Let the Games Begin |
Aug. 2, 2010 - Once again it’s time to air up the court tires and rugby balls and replace broken spokes, seized bearings and bent axles. That’s right ladies and gents, the start of the 2010-2011 USQRA season is rapidly approaching. This year, the NEP Wildcats Quad Rugby Team will be crashing into the new season with a pair of Quad Rugby demonstrations followed by our own ever-popular and well-attended 4th Annual Rugby Rampage Invitational Tournament.
The first event of the season will be a Quad Rugby demonstration held on August 24th at Boston University for the new crop of incoming Theraputic Recreation students. Included in the demo will be a Wildcat vs. Wildcat scrimmage and Q&A session to get students familiar with the basics of Quad Rugby and then we will be getting as many TR students as possible into Rugby Chairs so that they can experience the "toughest sport on 4 wheels," first-hand.
On Sept. 11th, get ready for UConn Men's Rugby vs. NEP Wildcat Rugby. It's a Quad Rugby Rumble: The UConn Men’s Rugby Team takes on the NEP Wildcats in their first ever grudge match. This fundraising event is being held at the Star Hill Family Athletic Center in Tolland , CT. As the premiere Quad Rugby team in New England, the NEP Wildcats were invited down as representatives of the sport and to showcase the game in the heart of New England . The UConn Men’s Team will jump into rugby chairs to try and morph their able body rugby skills from the pitch onto the court against the Quads. This is sure to be a sight to see as the Wildcats are undefeated in exhibition games! The games begin at 4:00pm and will go until 7:30. Social to immediately follow the games. Finally, the first two tournaments of the season kick off in October. The Al Youakim Invitational hosted by the NY Warriors will be held the weekend of Oct. 2nd-3rd and our own annual tournament, Rugby Rampage IV, will be held on Oct. 23rd-24th at the University of New Hampshire. Please check our schedule often for updates on additional tournaments and practices as the schedule for the 2010-2011 season is currently in development.
